SEASON 2010-2011     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Joseph Fry, Robert Hulley, Gordon Morse, Sandy Smyth (Capt), Michael Williams.
Position Premiership - 8th out of 8
Comments From the moment they failed to sign a big hitter who would be available most of the season, they were always likely to struggle.  However, it all started well with a sensational win over Good Knights, who eventually went down with them.  But it was defeats all the way after that in what was a tough season.
SEASON 2009-2010     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Joseph Fry, Robert Hulley, Gordon Morse, Sandy Smyth (Capt).
Position Championship - 1st out of 8
Comments They finally delivered by winning the Championship title at the end of 3 seasons in the lower division.  Unusually, they managed it with just 4 squad players all season; nobody missed a round.  Their only defeat was to eventual runners-up The Team with No Name, but it wasn't enough to lose top spot.
SEASON 2008-2009     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Joseph Fry, Robert Hulley, Rahul Lall, Gordon Morse, Ray Ryan, Sandy Smyth (Capt).
Position Championship - 4th out of 8
Comments It was 1 place higher this season as they finished in the top half of the Championship, but it could have been better had they not be thumped by Real Betis in the final final.
SEASON 2007-2008     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Joseph Fry, Robert Hulley, Rahul Lall, Gordon Morse, Sandy Smyth (Capt).
Position Championship - 5th out of 8
Comments This was supposed to be the season that saw The Luddites bounce back to the top flight, but it never really happened.  A reasonable start gave way to a poor middle of the season which they never really recovered from.
SEASON 2006-2007     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Michael Collins, Paul Jackson, Gordon Morse, Sandy Smyth (Capt), David Wallis.
Position 10 out of 12
Comments It was disappointment for The Luddites as a poor start left them too close to the bottom that even 2 wins in the last 2 rounds couldn't drag them out of the relegation zone.  They will start next season in the lower division.
SEASON 2005-2006     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Michael Collins, Paul Jackson, Ron Mattocks, Sandy Smyth (Capt), David Wallis
Position 8 out of 14
Comments It was another mid-table finish and a season which didn't set the world on fire; this season it was a score of just under 50%.
SEASON 2004-2005     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Michael Collins, Paul Jackson, Ron Mattocks, Gordon Morse (Capt), Sandy Smyth
Position 10 out of 20
Comments The only difference to last season in terms of the final results was the goal difference, which was 2 better than last season.  The patten of results was also different in that the 2 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses were mixed throughout the season.
SEASON 2003-2004     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Neil Clifton, Michael Collins, Paul Jackson, Ron Mattocks, Gordon Morse (Capt), Sandy Smyth
Position 10 out of 20
Comments The Luddites were happy with a top half finish this season despite another poorish start.  Again, results in the 2nd half of the season improved on the 1st half.
SEASON 2002-2003     -     THE LUDDITES
Players Michael Collins, David Howes, Paul Jackson, Ron Mattocks, Gordon Morse (Capt), Brian Williamson.
Position 10 out of 12.
Comments The team was formed by Gordon Morse for the second season of the Super League.  Early results were poor and they sat at the bottom early on, but they managed to start picking up results mid-season which took them up to 10th.
