| SEASON 2009-2010 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Chas Fellows, Harry Gold, Martin Goode, Albert Jones (Capt), Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | Premiership - 5 out of 8 |
| Comments | Although they finished in the same position as last season, it was a much more comfortable season for Chess Brainiacs. They even had a mathematical chance of the title going into the final round in 4th place and would have finished 2nd had they won that game 4-0. They were fairly steady throughout equalising their wins and losses at the earliest opportunity every time. |
| SEASON 2008-2009 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Chas Fellows, Harry Gold, Martin Goode, Albert Jones (Capt), Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | Premiership - 5 out of 8 |
| Comments | What appeared to be a good win in the first round against the team they had deposed as champions the season before turned into a nightmare campaign which then saw 4 defeats on the turn. It needed a desperate recovery which they only just managed with a win and a draw in the final 2 rounds, with the draw being grabbed from near defeat on the last game. |
| SEASON 2007-2008 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Chas Fellows, Harry Gold, Albert Jones (Capt), Adrian Kernot, Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | Premiership - 1 out of 8 |
| Comments | The first ever winners of the competition finally made it 2 titles after a solid season which saw them lead most of the way. Eventual Runners-Up The Gladiators did shock them in round 5 but them slipped up in subsequent rounds to allow Albert Jones's team to march through and take the title. |
| SEASON 2006-2007 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Chas Fellows, Harry Gold, Albert Jones (Capt), Adrian Kernot, Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | 4 of 12 |
| Comments | Once again, Chess Brainiacs were challenging for the title but key results knocked them out despite their victory over the eventual Champions' in Round 2.. |
| SEASON 2005-2006 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Chas Fellows, Harry Gold, Albert Jones (Capt), Adrian Kernot, Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | 4 of 12 |
| Comments | Chess Brainiacs were challenging early on but had a dodgy middle few rounds which cost them. |
| SEASON 2004-2005 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Harry Gold, Martin Goode, Albert Jones, James Lin (Capt), Michael Vandelaar, Simon Wrigley. |
| Position | 2 out of 20 |
| Comments | In a season where there was not much room for error for anyone wanting to take the title, Chess Brainiacs so nearly made it a second title in 4 seasons. |
| SEASON 2003-2004 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Harry Gold, Martin Goode, Albert Jones, James Lin (Capt), Ray Ryan. |
| Position | 13 out of 20 |
| Comments | No signs of past glories this season - Chess Brainiacs never really got going in James Lin's final season as team captain. |
| SEASON 2002-2003 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Simon Breen, Matt Brooks, Martin Goode, James Lin (Capt), Aidan Rawlinson, Frank Roberts. |
| Position | 5 out of 12 |
| Comments | A poor start put pay to the Champions' hopes of retaining their title; they eventually finished just outside the prize zone. |
| SEASON 2001-2002 - CHESS BRAINIACS | |
| Players | Fred Coombes, James Lin (Capt), Frank Roberts, Brian Williamson, Joe Xuereb. |
| Position | 1 out of 6 |
| Comments | This was the first ever season of competition and there had been an attempt to get the teams as equal as possible. James Lin had become the youngest captain in the competition after offering to take on the job after the season started and led his team to victory in the final game of the season. |
