Position Premiership - 3rd of 8      Cup - Losing finalists in the cup
Comments A solid season all round but just falling short of silverware.  They ran all the way to the cup final, only losing to Pawn Crackers by the odd point in 4.  In the league, they achieved a solid 3rd place, winning all of the 3 wins by the narrowest margin and losing to the eventual champions by the same margin.  They only lost one heavily to the eventual runners-up.
SEASON 2011-2012     -     KING PAWNS

Comments A new start under a new captain saw a fairly solid start to the new season with 2 wins a draw in the opening 4 rounds.  However defeat in the next 2 left them battling to avoid the drop in the final round, which they did with a draw against newly promoted Barcelona.
SEASON 2010-2011     -     KING PAWNS

Position Premiership - 3rd of 8
Comments Their only consistency was their results' inconsistency in the opening 4 weeks of the season as they went L-W-L-W.  They never really seemed in danager and indeed, improved on last season's finish by taking a podium place.  They had a good and reliable squad to thank for that.
SEASON 2009-2010     -     KING PAWNS

Position Premiership - 4th of 8
Comments Another solid season saw them go into the final round with a chance of lifting the title.  However, a draw for them and a win for The Gladiators put pay to them lifting from 3rd place and they were overtaken by 5th placed Pawn Crackers on the final week.
SEASON 2008-2009     -     KING PAWNS

Comments A solid season of consolidation in the Premiership, they were the only team not to have anything to play for/against on the final week of the season.  They couldn't win the league and they couldn't go down.  An interesting mix of players, they were comfortable enough from the start not to be affected unduly by 3 defeats in the last 4 rounds.
SEASON 2007-2008     -     KING PAWNS

Position Championship - 2nd out of 8
Comments A new team formed by Daniel Gliddon and ably captained by Richard Ledingham, they won promotion as runners-up.  New signings will be needed if they are going to survive in the Premiership, but the squad was a good one for the Championship.
