SPEED CHESS EVENINGS

Although those that want to play long play chess on these 5 evenings can do so, these 5 evenings during the season are for those that like to play chess a little faster.  There are 3 activities currently involved and players can enter for any 1, any 2 or all 3 of the activities:

*        Rapid Play Super League (starting at 7-40pm)
*        Individual Rapid Play Club Championship
*        Individual Blitz Club Championship

The Rapid Play Super League kicks the evening off at 7-40pm.  Those not involved can start their individual matches straight away.  The CCF Controller sits in the book stall area acting as an air traffic controller, coordinating matches as people finish games.  Players involved in all 3 events might find themselves switching between blitz and rapid play games all evening.  Who plays who depends on who finishes when and who is available.  All you have to do is make sure you are there on all 5 dates if possible (we can normally cope with players missing 1 as long as it is not the last when when they have games left to play).
