CCF Super League History of
RSJ*

SEASON 2016-2017     -     RSJ
Players Chris Carew, John Duggan, Joel Newman, Michael Prizant, Ian Snape (Capt).
Position Premiership - 1 of 8
Comments A draw in round 2 seemed to open up the title race but last season's Champions won their remaining games to take the title again.  The future of the team is now in severe doubt as 2 members of the squad are now not playing and 1 more is doubtful.  As such the team may not run in 2017-18.
SEASON 2015-2016     -     RSJ
Players Nick Briggs, John Duggan, James Foster, Joel Newman, Ian Snape (Capt).
Position Premiership - 1st of 8
Comments Champions for the 2nd time in 3 seasons after a mediocre season last year.  Their only dropped points came on the final week of the season when the title was already (effectively) won.
SEASON 2014-2015     -     RSJ
Players Ian Snape (Capt), John Duggan, Michael Prizant, James Foster, Conor Murphy, Victoria Sit.
Position Premiership - 4th of 6      Cup: Winners
Comments It was a tougher season for the Champions, who didn't find the dominance of the previous year.  Winning the cup may be seen as some consolation for a league performance that would surely have been better had key players been more available.
SEASON 2013-2014     -     RSJ
Players Ian Snape (Capt), John Duggan, Michael Prizant, Conor Murphy, Victoria Sit, Haolin Zhao, Huan Sit
Position Premiership - 1st of 6      Cup - Winners of Plate
Comments A new team as far as this event goes (which effectively replaced Chess Brainiacs in the top division), but formed from the squad of the RSJ team that competed in the former Wednesday night FIDE rated league.  They had a finely balanced squad with the rating levels as they were and edged through one or two key games on the way to winning the title.  In the cup, they lost their opening round match against Barcelona but then had what was seen as a relatively easy run to the final of the plate, where they triumphed in a tight result against Pawn Curry.
