Please note that players only receive their medals if they stay to the prize giving. The only exceptions are those who "book" an early departure at the start of the day. We are not, with apologies, interested in assisting those who can't be bothered to stay to the prize giving, as we feel that the prize ceremony is just as important as the playing of the tournament. |

In
your age group, you are trying to become......... Players generally play in their age groups but, unlike the English Chess Challenge Finals, in this event, they do have the right to move up to an "older" section if they want to. and you are
trying to help your school trainer become......... The highest scoring trainee of each trainer in each age group (not including many secondary school aged players) will register a score for their trainer. In the event of a tie, the 2nd best trainee will count, and so on. All age groups up to and including Under 12 will be included. Only school and junior club trainees can count, as CCF chess club trainees could have ben moving groups and, in any case, it would be unfair onn those that don't train at the junior club. Only CCF schools can count. Click here for past honours. |
