RAPID PLAY CONGRESS PRIZES - OPEN EVENT

The prize fund will total about 50% of the entry fees taken.  The exact breakdown of 1st prize and grading prizes will reflect the balance of players entered as best we can and will be decided during the 1st round.

RAPID PLAY CONGRESS PRIZES - GRADED SECTIONS

EACH SECTION WILL HAVE A GUARANTEED £60 PRIZE FUND
The exact breakdown will reflect the players within that section and the number of sections.   Players will, in principle, be split into approximately equal groups (numbers and/or grades) as deemed most appropriate by CCF.

INFORMATION RELEVANT TO ALL PRIZES

Ungraded players shall be limited to 1/3  (one third) of 1st prize (except in the Open) unless CCF has been able to obtain an accurate and confirmed estimate. CCF reserve the right to look for past playing history to verify estimated grade & amend this during the day if necessary - please include full details of recent tournaments.

In the event of players eligible for more than 1 prize, we will allocate prizes as we consider best appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AN ADMINISTRATION FEE IS LIKELY TO BE DEDUCTED FROM ANY PRIZE WE ARE ASKED TO POST.

Players will be put into sections of approximately 10 players.  Number of players and grades of those entered will be considered when setting the sections.
