The ECF (through the John Robinson Trust) is providing subsidised entries for suitable English juniors (under 21) wishing to play in this event.  Priority will be given to realistic IM / GM norm seekers and players looking for experience competing in international tournaments.

All English entrants must submit their English Chess Federation Membership Number.
All non-English players are expected to be members of their own federation.
WE RUNNING THE FOLLOWING EVENTS
IM Norm All-Play All A 9 round, 10 player (1 round per day) round robin tournament for  IM Norms.  We will run more events if more FM's/WFM's come forward quickly.  We don't rule out a GM norm event, although we feel this is very unlikely now.

We will run as many of the above events that we have enough interest for.

Challengers * A 9 round FIDE Rated Open Swiss tournament.
* The winner receives a free entry into a future round robin IM Norm event. 
* The highest eligible player wins the right to enter the British Chess Championships plus up to 3 players who have met at least 7 FM's (or better) and registered a tournament performance of 2350 or higher.
"Sections for All" - A events
(aimed at all standards)
* A 7 round tournaments (either a small Swiss or all-play-all)
* Saturday 22 August - Tuesday 25 August 
* Small sections of similar rated players.
* Higher sections will be FIDE rated as rules allow.
"Sections for All" - B events
(aimed at all standards)
* A 7 round tournaments (either a small Swiss or all-play-all)
* Thursday 27 August - Sunday 30 August 
* Small sections of similar rated players.
* Higher sections will be FIDE rated as rules allow.
Junior Challenge Event A one-day event (Wednesday 26 August) with training in the morning and several tournaments of 3 rounds in the afternoon.  Players grouped into small groups based on strength/age. 
Open Rapid Play & Open Blitz Monday 31 August.
